Developing children is what we do best

The first step is getting to know each other

Before joining Rainbow Cubs, we’ll have a chat and take some notes to see what the child’s needs are. This is complementary and includes:

  • paw Intellectual & language skills
  • paw Physical capabilities
  • paw Social & emotional skills
  • paw Dietary requirements
  • paw Allergies & medication

We strongly believe in a balanced approach to development; we incorporate a lot of child lead, independent learning through play into our day, as well as adult aided or initiated learning as we feel this delivers the best overall outcome.

With you every step of the way

But the proof is in the pudding!

Each day is precious, so every evening we like to take the time to chat to parents and carers about how everything went. But we like to hear from parents and carers, too! It really helps to have good communication between all parties.

We keep written reports for each Rainbow Cub which includes things like:

    • paw Intellectual & language skills
    • paw Physical development
    • paw Social & emotional skills
    • paw Nutritional development

An EYFS progress check is also completed between 24 and 36 months old.
